Proper preparation is essential for your safety and the success of your procedure. Please review the following pre-operative guidelines carefully:
For safety reasons, no food or drink is to be consumed after 12:00 AM midnight on the eve of your procedure. This includes water, coffee, tea, juice, clear liquids, lozenges, mints, chewing gum, and hard candy.
Consuming anything during this period may increase anesthesia risks and could result in the cancellation of your procedure.
A driver is required only if anesthesia or sedation is being used. You will not be permitted to drive yourself home after these procedures.
No liquids or solids for at least 8 hours prior to your scheduled procedure time.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing and flat, sturdy shoes.
We cannot replace lost or misplaced items. Please bring only essentials such as glasses, dentures, hearing aids, canes, walkers, or wheelchairs.
Leave jewelry (rings, watches, earrings, body piercings) and other valuables at home. All jewelry must be removed prior to the procedure.
