Dr. Matt Ballard is a board-certified Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician and fellowship-trained interventional pain management physician. With specialized training in both rehabilitation and pain medicine, he focuses on helping patients relieve pain, restore function and mobility, and return to the activities that are important to them.

Dr. Ballard earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine before completing his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Casa Colina in Pomona, California. He then completed his Pain Medicine fellowship at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where he received advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions.

His background in both rehabilitation and interventional pain medicine allows him to take a comprehensive approach to care. Dr. Ballard works closely with each patient to understand their symptoms, concerns, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. His approach combines evidence-based medicine with minimally invasive interventional procedures to address a wide range of spine, joint, nerve, and musculoskeletal pain conditions.

His clinical interests include spinal pain, neuropathic pain, joint disorders, regenerative medicine, and advanced interventional pain procedures. Dr. Ballard is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care that helps patients feel heard, informed, and confident throughout their treatment.
